I have been teaching and practicing a wide range of complementary therapies, which include Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage, Chinese Medicine, and Reiki among others, since July 1999. I am the principal and founder of OBUS school in Leixlip. I teach nationally in a number of colleges in Ireland, internationally in Malta, USA, China, and Taiwan.
I love all aspects of my work, writing, teaching, researching, massaging, and yes even admin. But the aspect that most inspires me is when I see a student or client make the connection between how we think and how we are. It is an honour to be part of the personal growth that comes about when they see for themselves the power of the body, mind, and spirit connection.
In 2006 I decided to open OBUS Wellness Centre with my husband Colum. The philosophy behind the venture is to provide a place, which offers many different ways of helping people connect with their true essence, their joy, and their passion. And to work with teachers who can help give a different perspective on quality of life and what it means to be truly healthy.
